In the world's blind spot in Yemen, Taiz city, the Houthis extremist group continue to murder children continuously and carefreely, mostly by using their seasoned snipers.

On Thursday, a Houthi sniper stationed in Madarat area, west of the central Yemen city, shot Layan Fayez Radman Sallam, three years old, rendering her seriously injured. The little girl succumbed to death the second day.  She was playing in front of her house that day as Yemeni children celebrate the Eid Al-Fitr festivity.

The snipers of the Shia Islamic extremists have killed and injured hundreds of children as young as three and two in the city over the past three years. The local media publishes them with photos and details, yet such continuous stories of infant murders hardly draw any international media coverage or interest.

Children in Yemen are double victims of Houthis. The violent theocratic militia depends largely on radicalized child fighters and very often target children in civilian places.

As their snipers are imposing a three years long siege around Taiz, Houthis have been killing children there by various means; sniper shooting, landmines, Katyucha rockets and indirectly by cutting of essential humanitarian  and medical supplies. Sniper shooting is only the most continuous and pre-meditated way.
